US Paramedic: Hero of the Year Award: Steve Tremonti

Focus Comics champions autistic and special needs kids, super heroes and local heroes. We are proud to announce that Steve Tremonti, Engineer Paramedic (Rural Metro Fire) has been selected for this years Hero of the Year Award (2024), within the US Paramedic category. We look forward to presenting him with our Focus Comics Hero of the year award Trophy on 27th April 2024 at our venue : Samurai comics store in Glendale at 10am. Steve will be one of our guest speakers that day along side other honorable heroes in the community.

Engineer Paramedic Steve Tremonti has been serving the community with Rural Metro Fire for 19 years. Autism awareness is particularly important to Steve, as he is a father to an autistic child. Over the years Steve has been a champion, participating in numerous event to bring awareness to Autism. Steve often dons full firefighter gear to participate in events such as 5k runs, stair climbs, and walks in support local charities. Steve exemplifies the founding principles of Rural Metro Fires founder Lou Witzeman Jr. who built Rural Metro Fire on the premise of being a “White Horse” for those in need. Steve is mentor to new firefighters and a consummate professional. It is with great honor that Rural Metro Fire nominates Engineer Medic Steve Tremonti to represent Rural Metro Fire.  

Our Focus comic autistic and special needs students look forward to meeting Steve, and our local heroes at their military vehicle art graduation event in celebration of Autism acceptance month. Our hope is to include as many local heroes in our students class photo for 2024.
