In celebration of Presidents’ Day, Focus comics had the pleasure of teaching autistic and special needs students how to draw President Biden Chibi style. Our students learned about the role of the president of the United States, and a bit about the American flag and character design. Our students were gifted a Winsor Newton water colors / brush kit and water color paper to assist them in fulfilling their creative potential. Our students learned about different water color application techniques and a bit about color theory and the color wheel.
Our creator Yvonne Wan demonstrated how to apply water colors by showing how professionals approach water color portraits step by step.
We had 14 students participate in this special class. Check out our students art. We provided group and one to one classes for this special workshop. We are proud to champion young autistic and special needs talent.
