Focus loves Tempe – Free Zoom Classes – Championing Special Needs Kids Week 1

Focus is one of the world’s first autistic super heroes. Project Focus maintains dignity for autistic individuals by removing the stigma. Focus runs a free art camp. We champion special needs kids.

We are delighted to share with you our latest highlights film.

The 5 week free art course will develop and harness artistic skills of our students.

This week we taught our students how to draw a one point perspective landscape drawing of Tempe, with the hole in the rock landmark in the background and sonoran desert. The kids learned a little bit about biodiversity and the beautiful environment that surround us.

The course is led by Certified social cultural anthropologist and award winning artist Yvonne Wan, and Certified art teacher and award winning artist Douglas Hebert.

We are still accepting new student applications. If you are interested in applying, please email our Focus comic creator at [email protected] with the subject heading: “Focus comic free art camp: Tempe Special Event”. Please provide your child’s name, age, your city of residence and your contact number in the email. Thanks.

This 5 week art event is partially funded by a City of Tempe community arts grant”.
