We are 28 weeks into our Focus comic art camp which is free for kids and young adults with autism.
The kids learned how to use the pottery wheel for the first time this week. We are proud to champion kids with special needs. The class plan involved strategies in helping children with tactile defensiveness; developing fine motor skills; creating positive childhood memories.
The students had the opportunity to make new friends, and the parents were also given the opportunity to network with other parents with similar backgrounds.
