We are honored to announce that our Focus Comic Creator Yvonne Wan plus her autistic and special needs interns will be featured artists at the I.D.E.A Museum in downtown Mesa Arizona on March the 9th.
Yvonne Wan, is an award winning comic creator, writer and artist. She will showcase her art on the day and provide free art workshops to the general public between 9am and 4pm. Learn how to draw and color Focus the autistic super hero, and yourself as a super hero with Yvonne’s guidance as a teaching artist. We will be handing out Focus Comic prizes to our drawing and coloring contest winners.
Our young autistic and special needs interns also look forward to showcasing their art at the museum in celebration of neuro diversity.
Please come on down to experience the free literacy themed creative programming that day. Please also give our young interns some positive feedback and encouragement in relation to their art. We will be exhibiting digital art that the kids drew of Focus the autistic super hero celebrating each month of the year.
