Comics, cartoons, and movies often captures the imagination of the people through enchanting tales and fables involving mythical and legendary characters such as kings, queens, princes and princesses. Villains may include witches and toads in a magical country and world that seems to be far far away.

Starting this weekend we will immerse ourselves into the magical world of kings, queens, princes and princesses by drawing the United Kingdom’s royal family chibi and anime style. The first class will take place on the day of the Kings coronation Saturday May 6th on zoom. The free art program is for autistic and special needs kids in Arizona. There will be three workshops for our students to participate in. Select the ones that interest your child and join in the fun.

Focus comics are proud to launch a 3 week Free royalty comic art program for autistic and special needs kids and youth online.

We will teach remotely online and will have an in person graduation event to show case our students talents. Each child will receive a certificate of achievement featuring their art that resembles a focus comic cover plus Focus comic gifts.

The students will have the option of forwarding the original art to our art teachers Yvonne Wan and Douglas Hebert so that we can send a class pack to his Majesty the King of the United Kingdom.

The free art program will take place on zoom on the following dates and times:

Workshop 1: Saturday 6 May: 2pm: how to draw His Majesty the King Chibi style.

Workshop duration: 40mins.
Art supplies needed: Paper, pencil, eraser. Any coloring supplies of your choice.

Workshop 2: Sunday 28 May: 3pm: how to draw the Prince and Princess of Wales Chibi style.

Workshop duration: 40mins.
Art supplies needed: Paper, pencil, eraser. Any coloring supplies of your choice.

Workshop 3: Sunday June 11th: 3pm: how to draw his Majesty the King Anime style using water colors.

Workshop duration: 40mins.
Art supplies needed: Water color Paper, pencil, eraser. Water colors and brush.

Graduation ceremony takes place in person in Avondale on Saturday 17th June at 10am.
