Free Pumpkin painting workshop for autistic and special needs kids

We recently hosted in person and online pumpkin painting workshops for our autistic and special needs students.

Our students learned about the importance of research and planning before implementation. Our students also learned the importance of priming their art, and ways of advancing their application techniques of acrylic paints. We also covered the color wheel and color theory. Our students used a variety of mediums this week including acrylic paints and pentel paint marker gifts.

Our students enjoyed working with 3d surfaces and working on their fine motor skills. Our students also enjoyed presenting their ideas and their art to their class mates and teachers.
