We are three weeks into our ‘Focus love Arizona’ free 5 week art program for autistic and special needs kids.
This week we taught our students on how to draw Focus the autistic super hero, themselves as a super hero and a villain (bank robber) . We taught our students about the art and science of perception, involving the use of a ruler and metrics to create the illusion of depth and distance. Our students also worked on their presentation skills during class.
Our students had fun. Please check out their awesome art. Many thanks to our teachers this week: Yvonne Wan (Focus Creator / Art teacher ), Douglas Hebert (Certified Art teacher) and Theresa Deacon (Special Education Teacher).
We very proud of our students skills and abilities.
