Free Celebrity Voice Acting Workshop

Focus comic are proud to announce they will be offering autistic and special needs kids and youth in Glendale an opportunity to apply for a spot on our ‘Focus loves Glendale Celebrity Voice acting workshop online’.

This is a 40-60 minute workshop on zoom. Students will have the opportunity to meet the creator of Focus comics, and learn about how comics, animations and movies are connected. Students will learn about the entertainment industry, some valuable voice acting techniques and gain some general career advice for those who love comics, animation, theatre and movies. Celebrity Tony Todd, a performing arts veteran will be our special guest. Tony Todd is known for his role in Candy Man, Star Trek, the voice of Venom, Zoom from the Flash, Transformers and Focus!

Date of Workshop: Friday 24th February 2023

Eligibility:

-Autistic and/or Special needs kids and youth

-Based in Glendale ( Students who live or study or receive therapy in Glendale ).

-Ages 8-17

Please note, your childs place on the program is not secured until we receive your application, and until you receive a confirmation email stating your childs spot is secured.

 Focus loves Glendale program is funded by a city of Glendale arts grant.
