Focus loves Tempe Art Exhibition – Championing Kids with Special Needs

Focus is one of the world’s first autistic super heroes. Project Focus maintains dignity for autistic individuals by removing the stigma. Focus runs a free art camp. We champion kids with special needs.

We are delighted to show you some of the best art by our Focus comic loves Tempe graduates class of 2021 (Group A). Our Focus Comic interns were also invited to be part of this experience.

Congratulations to our students.

The course is led by Certified social cultural anthropologist and award winning artist Yvonne Wan, and Certified art teacher and award winning artist Douglas Hebert.

Our students learned how to draw Focus the autistic super hero, themselves as a super hero and a criminal against a Tempe backdrop.

Our students were rewarded with a certficate of completion with 5 gold stars and their pencil art work colored digitally by Focus Creator Yvonne Wan. Yvonne also rewarded the students by digitally coloring 3 pieces of art for each student so they can frame it at home.

Check out their art. The students really enjoyed the course and felt empowered through their participation in the arts.
