This week our Focus comic creator, award winning artist and writer Yvonne Wan continued to develop Conner’s knowledge of spray painting techniques through a complimentary in person class. Conner loves drawing anything that has an 80s theme. Yvonne introduced Conner to the concept of one perspective art which incorporates maths, physics and geometry into the lesson plan. Conner was able to achieve the illusion of depth through this exciting approach to art. He also learned new acrylic paint application techniques and ways to use painters tape to assist with art creation. Conner used a canvas frame, acrylic spray paints, Liquitex Acrylic markers and regular acrylic paints to create this piece.
