Focus comic community outreach at Winter wonderland State Farm NFL Stadium Glendale Arizona

Focus comic had a community outreach event at West Valley Winter Wonderland at Glendale State Farm Stadium over the weekend.

Our autistic and special needs interns had a magical experience at the NFL stadium showcasing their art as featured artists this year. Thank you to the general public for supporting our students art by giving them positive feedback and encouragement. Our students gained a strong sense of self confidence from the event which will remain with them for life.

We also provided free coloring workshops for the general public and a free coloring contest. We had over 23 coloring contest winners who enjoyed coloring Focus the autistic super hero. Our winners loved their free Focus comic prizes at the event. Check out their art:

Our interns gained valuable vocational work experience at the booth as well as raise autism awareness and acceptance through our humanitarian project.

Our Focus comic fans were also excited to meet Yvonne Wan our Focus comic creator and art teacher for our free art camp for autistic and special needs kids. This young girl loved this painting that Ms Wan had done with acrylic spray paints.

We want to congratulate our autistic and special needs interns for successfully completing their work experience internship at the event. They enjoyed representing young autistic and special needs talent at the event.

85% of autistic individuals with a college degree are currently unemployed. We are hoping to address this issue by providing talented autistic and special needs kids and youth valuable work experience to be successful at job interviews and also teaching them valuable life skills to become independent artists contributing to the beautiful and diverse society in Arizona.

Love our project ? Please support us in any way you can. Merry Christmas .
