We are 16 weeks into our Focus comic art camp which is free for kids and young adults with autism.
We had a successful art workshop where kids with autism were given a drawing, sculpting and painting workshop. The students were taught how to draw Focus the autistic super hero, build super hero shields with clay, build coat of arms with clay and paint other cool things such as name plaques and super hero action figures. The students had the opportunity to make new friends, and the parents were also given the opportunity to network with other parents with similar backgrounds.
