Hollywood actor Kevin McNally recently joined us on zoom as our special guest in support of young autistic and special needs talent!
Our students had an amazing time learning about the importance of visual and performing arts and how comics are connected with animation and movies. Our students learned about how stories are translated from stories, to scripts through to the big screen. Our students learned about voice acting, acting in general, how to project their voice and take on creative directions with their performances. Our students also learned the art of performing different accents. Our students were inspired and felt encouraged by Kevin’s words of wisdom, guidance and support.
Kevin looks forward to staying in touch with us, as he really enjoyed helping our students fulfill their creative potential.
Thank you Kevin McNally for his time. This performing arts class is part of our 5 week Hero program which is funded by a City of Glendale Performing arts grant. Thank you.
