Over the weekend, Focus Comics honored Charlotte Kelley, Special Education Hero by inviting her to join our zoom class as our special guest. Check out the highlights film. We asked our students what do they love about special education teachers? Also we asked why do they think Special Education teachers are heroes? Check out what they had to say? Charlotte introduced the kids to the kind of work she does as a special education teacher and showed them some of the tools that she use in class. She also accepted a Q&A session. The kids also enjoyed drawing her as a comic character , along side Focus the autistic super hero and themselves in a classroom setting as part of a tribute art assignment. Check out their art:
