Staff Sergeant Carlos Lopez is an exceptional Fire Protection specialist assigned to the 56th Civil Engineer Squadron at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. With over six years of distinguished service, he has consistently demonstrated superior performance in emergency response, fire suppression, and all-hazards incident management, safeguarding personnel, aircraft, and critical infrastructure in support of one of the Air Force’s largest fighter wings. Beyond the fireground, SSgt Lopez excels in logistics and resource management, ensuring operational readiness through meticulous oversight of equipment, supplies, and mission-critical programs. A proven leader, he actively mentors and develops junior Airmen, fostering a culture of discipline, accountability, and excellence.
