Free McLaren MCL39 Race Car Class

This week our Focus comic students enjoyed learning how to draw a McLaren MCL39 Race car class. We held one to one and group classes in-person and on zoom. Our group class was extra special this week as our autistic students were able to watch the Nascar race live whilst drawing at the same time! This weeks lesson plan incorporates maths, physics and geometry. Our students were introduced to the concept of symmetry, and how to use a line of symmetry to improve their art. They were given the option of modifying the car design to create their dream race car. Our students also loved using the Royal Talens water colors that they were gifted at Christmas. Our students are beginning to improve their water color techniques through regular practice in class.
