The Heroes Awards honor fire fighters, first responders and military (active and veterans) for their courage; sacrifice, selfless service, patriotism, kindness, compassion and leadership.
To be eligible for the award, award recipients need to attend the Hero awards ceremony May 2nd 3pm for an hour at our venue Zinc Apartments club house.
Award recipients will receive an Hero Award, a legacy water color portrait by award winning artist Yvonne Wan, challenge coins, certificate of honor signed by our dignitaries and a professional photoshoot.
This is a prestigious patriotic event with community leaders such as the Mayor of Goodyears, Luke Air Force honor guard, military organizations and government agencies attending.
We will be celebrating autism awareness month with our Focus comics students graduating on our free Hero Art program on the same day. Heroes, community leaders and our graduates (children of heroes, plus autistic and special needs youth) will gather at this special event to celebrate community. We look forward to taking a community photo of our students with our heroes and dignitaries.
