Focus comics LOVE super heroes and local heroes. This year, instead of participating in the global wide inktober artist challenge, where artists produce 1 inked painting for 30 consecutive days, our Focus comic creator Yvonne Wan will challenge herself to produce 30 color portraits of local fire fighters.

We are proud to announce that we will be honoring 30 local fire fighters by immortalizing them as part of a prestigious fine art exhibition spotlighting their contribution to society. The award ceremony honors local fire fighters for their courage; sacrifice, selfless service, patriotism, compassion and leadership. The portraits will be gifted to the fire fighters which will become part of their living legacy. They can pass that onto their family and future generations.

This exhibition is organized by Yvonne Wan, Focus comic creator, social cultural anthropologist and award winning artist. Her art work of the 46th U.S President Joe Biden is displayed in the White House. Yvonne Wan will gift 30 original and hand signed fine art portraits to 30 fire fighters at the exhibit, plus a certificate of recognition for their contribution to society.
