Congratulations to our 14 Focus fire academy free art program graduates for autistic and special needs kids. Our students enjoyed the technical comic drawing program where they learned how to draw Focus the autistic super hero in an Avondale fire truck. The kids also got to meet their local heroes at the fire station where they learned more about the fire trucks, the work of our local heroes and fire safety. The kids loved their in person graduation ceremony where they received their certificates of achievements featuring their fire truck art that resembles a focus comic cover. Thank you Yvonne Wan, the creator of Focus comics for coloring the kids art professionally. The kids also enjoyed their Fire service, Focus, and wild bills soda gifts and complimentary NYPD Pizza.
