Yvonne Wan empowered her 18 year old autistic intern Carson, with the opportunity to expand his role as an art teacher assistant this week. Our goal for Carson is to develop his artistry, build his self confidence as an artist and provide him with relevant work experience to improve his employment prospects. 85% of autistic individuals with a college degree are unemployed. We want to change this by providing free child hood development services, free art workshops for autistic youth and work experience opportunities for those transitioning into adulthood.
