Focus Comics and Real American Heroes Coffee are proud to announce that Vanessa Montiel has landed a special internship opportunity. Vanessa is a talented special needs artist who comes from a military family. Vanessa’s dad is a combat veteran.
The internship opportunity includes free one to one in person digital art illustration training on how to design a tribute drawing honoring a hero of our interns choice. Focus comics and Real American Heroes coffee honors local heroes for their courage; sacrifice, selfless service, patriotism, compassion and leadership. Vanessa chose to draw Focus the autistic super hero and her father who is a combat veteran. In an interview, Vanessa talked about how her dad is her super hero. Vanessa really enjoyed drawing the art work for this internship.
The artwork appears on a limited edition Focus Comic Real American Hero coffee bag which will be sold online and at community outreach events in support of young autistic and special needs talent; and local heroes. We thank US Army Combat veteran Mike Montiel for his service.
