Focus comic internship: Carson Shuler honoring USMC Heroes

Focus Comics and Real American Heroes Coffee are proud to announce that Carson Shuler has landed a special internship opportunity. Carson Shuler is a talented autistic artist and comes from a military family.

The internship opportunity includes free one to one in person training on how to design a tribute drawing honoring a local hero.

Focus comics and Real American Heroes Coffee honors local heroes for their courage; sacrifice, selfless service, patriotism, compassion and leadership.

Carson chose to honor his father who is a USMC veteran. He also chose to draw Focus the autistic super hero, and a monster. Carson is a big fan of drawing monsters so this creative opportunity was really exciting for him.

The artwork will appear on a limited edition coffee bag which will be sold online and at community outreach events in support of young autistic and special needs talent; and local heroes. We Thank US Marine Vet and proud father, David Shuler for his service.

Check out Carsons art! Many thanks to Miss Yvonne Wan for coaching Carson on how to pencil and ink like a comic artist, and for coloring his art digitally using a Wacom drawing device. Carson looks forward to gaining valuable work experience as a comic artist intern by attending community outreach events.

Please be one of the first to order Carsons art by ordering a bag of Real American Heroes and Focus Comics coffee. Proceeds support our free art camp and local heroes. Thank you for your support.
