Focus comic are proud to be one of the first in the comic industry to host a prestigious Artist Year of the Year Award ceremony for autistic and special needs kids.
Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate our students achievements at Focus Comic Artist of the Year 2021 Award Ceremony.
The event opened with a presentation of the Focus comic free Winter Festival highlights film on the large screen:
The two day winter festival event comprised of free comic art and voice acting workshops for special needs and autistic kids. Many thanks to Yvonne Wan, Douglas Hebert and Hollywood actor Kevin McNally for teaching the kids during the two day festival.
At the Focus comic Award ceremony our students loved seeing their art on public display and having the opportunity to develop friendships with their classmates. The parents also enjoyed socializing with other parents. The kids loved their custom Certificate of achievement featuring their art and special prizes for participating in the arts.
We also had 3 prestigious trophies for 3 Artists of the Year.
Our new autistic trading card intern Bruno also had a fantastic experience celebrating his trading card accomplishment.

We hope to achieve more for special needs and autistic kids in the community 2022. Our mission is to entertain readers, maintain dignity for autistic individuals by removing the stigma and champion kids with special needs through the arts. Please support our social initiative in anyway you can.
