Testimonial: Litchfield Elementary School District

“It was a pleasure partnering with Litchfield Elementary School District, plus various autism schools across the Valley as a volunteer for our free Focus comics Hero Art Program this year during Autism Awareness month. Early childhood experiences matter for every child, especially those in extra need of support. It is important we take collaborative action in order to improve the lives of autistic and special needs individuals. Every child deserves to feel loved and accepted for who they are. That starts with positive self perception at a young age, feeling accepted by our peer groups and society and receiving the extra support they need to thrive in life. I want to help autistic kids to successfully transition into adulthood through the efforts of my project. My projects mission is to maintain dignity for autistic individuals by removing the stigma, provide free child development services to help autistic and special needs kids fulfill their creative potential and help autistic individuals improve their employment prospects. My project provides autistic individuals hope of a better future.

I want to express my gratitude for all the educators and teachers out there who care about the wellbeing of each child that they take under their wing. We are not just educators but guardians to the community and our collective future as a society.”
