Honoring Paul Shupe of Mesa Fire Department: Life Time Achievement Award

Congratulations to Paul Shupe of Mesa fire department for being one of our Living Legends Award recipients of 2025. The Living Legends Art exhibit and Awards honor fire fighters, first responders and airmen for their courage; sacrifice, selfless service, patriotism, kindness, compassion and leadership.

Award winning artist Yvonne Wan created 32 water color portraits in honor of 32 local fire fighters / first responders and Airmen for their service.

Thank you Scott Figgins, Local 2260 President and Captain of Mesa Fire Medical Department for accepting the Life time achievement award on behalf of Paul. Paul and his family feels honored to receive the special recognition for his contribution to the community.

We want to thank the hundreds of people who participated in the tribute film that we created for Paul. Paul feels moved by the sense of love from the community.

Thank you to all the mayors, representatives from multiple agencies for signing Paul Shupes Living Legends certificate of honor to celebrate his life time achievements. He also loves the 16 challenges coins from multiple agencies across Maricopa including The Mayor of Mesa and Buckeye. Paul thanks the community for sending their love, respect and honor. This award is deeply meaningful to him and his family. Signatures on his certificate of honor include Mayor of Mesa, Mayor of Litchfield Park, Fire chiefs and agency staff at Rural metro firefighters; Sun City Fire, Surprise Fire dept, Glendale Fire dept, Glendale Police, Phoenix Police, AZ fire medical, Luke air force base Fire Station, AMFMA, Buckeye fire station, Good year Fire department, Mesa Fire Dept & Focus comics.

Thank you Luke Air Force honor guard for attending the event in honor of Paul Shupes contribution to society, and the contribution of the other heroes.
