Focus comics color theory and color wheel free art class

This week our autistic and special needs students was introduced to the color wheel an color theory in comics in our free Free Focus Comic art class today. Our students learned how to mix Royal Talens acrylic paints using Van Gough pallet knives and Yasutomo paint pallet. The art class conforms to the Arizona State standards art curriculum.

We hosted group and one to one classes this week, including home schooling options. Our home school students learned how to draw a horse in celebration of the Lunar New Year (Year of the horse) and learned the art of inking and linear hatching (math, physics and geometry). We used Royal Talens fine liners for this class.

Our students even created fun hand prints using acrylic paints to address tactile defensiveness and engage in sensory play.
