Our Creator Yvonne Wan had the pleasure of creating a Veterans day tribute mural for the City of Goodyear Veterans day celebrations this year. This is her third year in creating a tribute mural honoring veterans from different branches of the miltary for protecting and serving our nation.
Yvonne invited her 19 year old autistic intern Carson Shuler to shadow her with this mural piece in support of young autistic intern. Carson worked on the gray tarmac, the 2 yellow lines and the instagram handle, with the permission of the city.
The F35 fighter jet is a technological marvel at Luke air force base. Families were drawn to this mural piece due to the friendly character design that Yvonne Created. The character was created earlier this year, as part of the Focus comic autism awareness art program she did in honor of those who protect and serve. This is one of Yvonnes favorite art pieces in 2025. The art took 5 days to create.
