We are proud to announce on #AutismAwareness day that Focus Comic will be attending Greater Austin Comic Con on June 15 and 17. Focus features an autistic super hero which is a symbol of hope to autistic kids by empowering them to feel like every day heroes. We also have autistic representation on the creative team (we have a daily internship program where we have a certified art teacher with experience in teaching autistic kids, coach the interns to fulfill their creative potential). We will have a table at the event and also a panel for Focus which will be aired on TV. Yvonne Wan, Certified social cultural anthropologist and Douglas A Hebert, Certified art teacher who have experience teaching autistic kids; have been coaching our interns daily. Autistic intern Tabidi Elkhalil received a promotion to work on the main comic story in addition to the community page. Autistic intern Malekith George will have his art published in the community page. All our interns will attend the event. Douglas Hebert (main artist) plus Sole creator Yvonne Wan will also be attending and leading the panel. They will be available to sign autographs to. There will be a very special announcement tomorrow regarding a surprise guest at our table and panel. So stay tuned! Please order Focus Comic at www.focuscomic.com to support our social cause campaign and comic. The print and digital is scheduled 30 April 2018.
